Britain commander Wayne Rooney says the civil argument over his part in the group has been an "overcompensation".

Rooney included: "I'm playing on the pitch for England. I'm commander of the group and I feel I can make a decent showing with regards to in the part.
"I am upbeat where I'm playing and I believe I'm benefiting a vocation."
